PA Hunger Action Coalition Hunger Advocacy Day!
We came together with other leaders in the food advocacy field to ask State Representatives to support existing food programs.
This includes:
•Sustained a support for the senior food box program.
• An increase to SNAP benefits for seniors and individuals with disabilities from $23 to $35.
•The continued support of the local food purchase incentives program (LFPA), PASS and many more programs.
We were excited to be a part of this important event, and are excited to see these important policy changes implemented in the future!

Community Shoutout! Thank you so much to the National Charity League, for donating 125 breakfast bags! For their full membership philanthropy day, they collected donated products, and later met and assembled the bags to be distributed by our street outreach program. Great job, and thank you so much!

The Wheels of Financial Literacy Go ‘Round & ‘Round!
At least that’s the hope behind the PNC Mobile Branch, now stationed outside of our SBT Center office!
The goal of this mobile branch is to serve the under banked population, assist with financial literacy, and answer any banking questions. There is also an ATM available!
It will be open every Wednesday from 10am-3pm, through the end of the year. Make sure to stop by!

We are seeking an energetic and responsible individual for the summer. They will be assisting the Fresh Connect Coordinator in all operations of the Farmers’ Market.
