The Opportunity Council's Food Program is Bucks County's lead food agency for families in need made possible by public and private support from food drives, gleaning from local grocery stores and farms, and more. The network includes over 40 providers focused on meeting the food and nutrition needs of low-income households in Bucks County and committed to a set of operating principles that ensure quality service provision and accountability.
There were 70,106 visits to providers during the most recent year. The total annual food distribution was 966,415 pounds of food which is the equivalent of 743,396 meals.
