Our BUCK$ LEARN workshop series includes the following topics:
- Budgeting: Participants discuss setting financial goals, tracking expenses, developing a savings plan, organizing financial information, and planning in advance for expenses.
- Credit and Debit Cards: Participants discuss the advantages and disadvantages of credit and debit cards, identify which type of card is the best choice for the individual, and learn to successfully read and understand statements.
- Banking: Participants discuss banks or credit unions and the types of accounts each offers, avoiding fees, balancing a checkbook and writing checks.
- Credit and Credit Repair: Participants discuss the importance of good
credit in the real world, understanding credit reports.
