Back to School

Sponsor a School-aged Child

BCOC's unique Back-To-School sponsorship program matches caring people with individual children in need. Each year, our coaches work with hundreds of families who struggle with basic needs, like having enough money for food, utilities, and medications. When summer rolls around, and school supply lists hang on the refrigerator, parents wonder how they'll provide their children with the tools they need to have a successful school year. Recommended by our coaches to be sponsored, each family creates a budget for clothing, haircuts, shoes, school supplies, and sports equipment and fees. Sponsors are given a list of items the child needs, and can purchase those items, or provide gift cards.

You can sponsor any number of children (until all children are matched). Complete the form below, and we'll be notified of your request to sponsor. Once we've matched a child(ren) with you, you'll receive an email with that child's information, needs and instructions. Gifts will be due to us prior to August 17th to ensure they can get to the families in time.

Thanks to a great response, we now have a wait-list for sponsors! To join the wait-list to sponsor a student, click HERE.

Donate

If you want to support our students but don't have time to shop, you can make a donation that will be earmarked for school supplies or other school needs for children in our case management programs.

Make a financial donation

You can also provide gift cards that we can give to clients who do not have sponsors. The most preferred stores are: Target, Wal-mart, Hair Cuttery, Great Clips, Ross, T.J. Maxx, Payless Shoes.

Gift cards can be delivered to: BCOC, 100 Doyle Street, Doylestown, PA 18901, Attn: Back to School
